Let me start off by saying, I’m no photographer. I don’t have any formal training in the art of taking a photograph. That said, leading up to my trip to Japan I did do a lot of self-exploration into what makes a good photo on a mobile device (iPhone Photography School has a YouTube channel too).
I got a lot of compliments on the photos I took from my recent trip to Japan, so I thought I’d put together this little photo editing workshop! While you can attend the session without participation, you are encouraged to follow along if photo editing is something you are interested in.
Snapseed is a freely available photo editing app for both iOS and Android offered by Google. Using Snapseed is really easy and we are going to have a lot of fun! I have also included the following photo pack if you want to follow along on your own mobile device. Similarly, if you want to try these techniques with your own photos, you are welcome to do that as well.
What will you need to edit your photos?
- Your mobile device (Android and iOS are both supported)
- Download and install Snapseed on your mobile device [ iOS version | Android version ]
- Download the photo pack if you want to follow along together!
I look forward to sharing some tips and tricks with everyone!
